Dr. Rob Nicholls’ nomination for Independent Telecommunications Adjudicator has been approved by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. In this role, Nicholls will adjudicate disputes and issue rulings involving access to Telstra’s network. He is to operate under the framework established by the Office of the ITA Limited Constitution and Charter of Independence, which have been approved by the ACCC as establishing the dispute resolution process. The Office of the ITA Limited nominated Nicholls, and he has the additional support of Telstra’s wholesale customers.
