DTEK permitted to acquire 25 percent stake in Dniproenergo

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has permitted DTEK to acquire a 25% stake in Dniproenergo, in addition to the 47.55% it already owns. DTEK is Ukraine’s largest private vertically integrated energy holding, from mining and enrichment of coal to distribution of electricity, and is one of the nation’s largest energy companies overall.
