E.U.: Commission pressures UPS to offer concessions for TNT Express bid

The European Commission is set to examine United Parcel Service’s (UPS) bid for TNT Express, and will raise a list of concerns regarding the anti-competitiveness of the merger before releasing a statement of objections. A person from the Commission said on Wednesday, that UPS has “not offered any concessions to date,” ratcheting up pressure on the American company to offer concessions.
