EC closes investigation into provision of misleading and incorrect information by Servier

 |  January 29, 2012

The European Commission has decided to end its investigation into Les Laboratoires Servier’s suspected provision of misleading and incorrect information in response to a pharmaceutical inquiry. Instead, the Commission will focus on currently pending competition cases in the pharmaceutical sector. The EC started a probe in 2008, focusing on the delayed entry of generics, and an investigation into suspected breaches of rules on restrictive agreements and abuses of dominance is still ongoing.
