EC probes state aid violation in public support of shipyard assets

The EC has opened formal inquiries into public support of two purchasers of Gdynia shipyard assets. The Industrial Development Agency, Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu, lent financial support to two Polish shipyards, Nauta and CRIST. The investigations will determine whether Poland violated EU state aid rules.
