EEUU: DOJ buscaría compensación por manipulación en precios de medicamentos genéricos
La agencia de noticias Bloomberg informa que algunas firmas fabricantes de medicamentos genéricos se encuentran bajo presión tras un discurso pronunciado por el jefe de la división antimonopolio del Departamento de Justicia de los EE. UU., Makan Delrahim, en la facultad de derecho de la Universidad George Mason. Durante el discurso, dijo que el Departamento de Justicia puede demandar a las compañías de medicamentos genéricos para recuperar los daños por presunta fijación de precios y agregó que si los contribuyentes fueron cobrados de más debido a la colusión para aumentar los precios, entonces puede ser apropiado buscar remedios.
