Etihad-Air Berlin alliance for Germany-Australia flights gets interim authorization

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has granted interim authorization to an alliance between Etihad Airways and Air Berlin. The authorization allows the airlines to coordinate pricing, scheduling and marketing for flights between Germany and Australia via Abu Dhabi.

Interim authorization is effective immediately, and remains in place until the ACCC has reached a final determination or until the authorization is revoked.
