Becton, Dickinson and Company recently received European Commission’s approval for its pending acquisition of CareFusion.
This effectively removes the last major obstacle for the acquisition to go through, after it was approved by Carefusion shareholders in late January. Both the companies now expect the transaction to close by Mar 17, 2015.
Announced in Oct 2014, the deal has received favorable verdict from most of the stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
