Fast Way Group companies fined for abuse of dominance

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has fined Fast Way Group’s Fast Way Transmission, Hathway Sukhamrit Cable and Datacom, Creative Cable Network over Rs 8 crore for abusing their dominance in the cable TV market in Punab and Chandigarh. Kansan News alerted the CCI to Fast Way Group’s practices of denying access to the market, as the operators had blocked Kansan News from its network.
