Former Director of Criminal Enforcement at DOJ to join Washington firm

John Terzaken III will join Allen & Overy’s DC office as a partner August 1st, leading the firm’s cartel defense practice after overseeing cartel investigations for the DOJ for a little less than two years. Some notable successes include Yazaki and DENSO Corporations’ combined $548 million penalty for price-fixing in auto parts and Barclays Bank PLC’s $160 million penalty in the London InterBank Offered Rate scandal.
