In an IÉSEG School of Management press release given to CPI, it was announced that Dr. Frank Maier-Rigaud has joined the school on its Paris campus as a fulltime professor. Dr. Maier-Rigaud had been Principal Economist at the OECD Competition Division prior to this new career change. His teachings will focus on Industrial Organization, Regulatory and public Economics, and Experimental Economics. Dr. Maier-Rigaud says he hopes to fill in a gap he sees between “applied industrial organization in academia” and the “policy relevant research questions that competition practitioners are interested in.”
