France: Latest pharma deal sees Synerlab buyout

In the latest deal in the highly active pharmaceutical market, private equity firm 21 Partners has announced plans to acquire France-based pharmaceutical manufacturer Synerlab.

Financial details of the deal were not reported, but the deal involves Synerlab’s current owner Ardian reinvesting in the company in efforts to promote Synerlab’s expansion throughout the EU.

The merger remains subject to antitrust clearance.
