France: Vinci takes 90 percent share in Geostock

In a move that raises Vinci SA’s stake in Geostock to 90 percent, the construction company and highway operator bought a 40 percent stake from Total, France’s largest oil company, adding onto Vinci’s existing 50 percent share. The transaction is still pending approval from regulators. Total has recently announced plans to raise money through asset sales in a two-year plan to invest in new oil extraction projects, hopefully boosting production by three percent.
