Germany: $1.1B healthcare equipment takeover approved by authorities

German antitrust authorities have reportedly approved of Fenwal Holdings’ takeover by Fresenius SE. Fenwal Holdings specializes in blood collection equipment, and Fresenius is a German healthcare company. According to sources, the deal was inked at $1.1 billion and was agreed-upon last July.
