Germany: Health insurance JV in the clear

    The nation’s Federal Cartel Office announced Tuesday that Fresenius, Rhoen-Kliniken and Asklepios can move forward with their joint venture known as Wir fuer Gesundheit. The project will sell insurance services and products to hospital employers, who can then offer those services to staff as employee benefits, say reports.

    The Federal Cartel Office said it did not have any cause for concern that the partnership would harm competition, according to reports.
