Germany: Health insurance JV in the clear

 |  November 11, 2014

German antitrust officials announced their clearance for three hospital chains to partner up to offer medical insurance, say reports.

The nation’s Federal Cartel Office announced Tuesday that Fresenius, Rhoen-Kliniken and Asklepios can move forward with their joint venture known as Wir fuer Gesundheit. The Federal Cartel Office said it did not have any cause for concern that the partnership would harm competition, according to reports.
