Global: White & Case elects 4 antitrust lawyers to partner amid slew of promotions

White & Case announced a slew of promotions on Monday as it named 37 new partners at its offices across the globe. Those promotions include four antitrust lawyers.

    Eileen M. Cole was named a partner at the firm’s Global Antitrust Practice in Washington, D.C., while Bryan Gant was also named a partner at the practice in New York. Cole specializes in complex civil and criminal antitrust investigations, while Gant’s expertise incudes cases within the petroleum, financial services and pharmaceutical industries, according to the firm.

    Additionally, Ivo Janda was named partner at White & Case’s Global Antitrust Practice; Janda is based in Prague and specializes in merge control, state aid, cartels and other competition-related cases.

    And lastly, Assimakis Komninos was also named a partner at the firm’s Global Antitrust Practice. Komninos is based in Brussels and has represented clients in cases of abuse of dominance, merger notifications and other competition matters before the European Commission and national competition regulators.

    White & Case’s latest promotions are effective January 1, 2015, the firm said, and span across 16 countries.
