Homemakers Furniture and Sleepzone Bedding get authorization for collective bargaining with suppliers

    The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission has authorized collective bargaining between Homemakers Furniture and Sleepzone Bedding retailers and their suppliers. The ACCC found that authorization would allow the retailers to “have greater input into the terms and conditions of their supply contracts,” allowing Homemakers to compete better with larger retailers.
