IAG’s acquisition of bmi approved by European Commission, with conditions

 |  April 1, 2012

IAG is to release 14 daily slot pairs at London Heathrow airport. IAG also commits to feeder arrangements for connecting passengers on long-haul flights of competing airlines out of Heathrow. The commitments are aimed to facilitate new entry and to resolve the Commission’s concerns with the acquisition’s impact on consumer choice of airlines for specific routes.
