India: Approval granted for pharmaceutical sale

The Competition Commission of India approved Piramal Enterprises’ $16.5 million purchase four brands of pharmaceuticals from Pfizer Ltd.

The acquisition was announced in May and includes the brands of Ferradol, Neko, Sloan’s and Waterbury’s Compound as well as trademark rights for Ferradol and Waterbury’s Compound in Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
