India: Automakers will present their defense in excessive pricing claims to CCI

According to reports, the CCI will likely hold hearings next month with the nation’s automakers over allegations of excessive pricing in the selling of their spare parts. Sources said that the car manufacturers asked for more time to prepare their arguments after the antitrust authority had sent a notice for hearings to be held last month. The Director General of the CCI has created a “voluminous” report detailing the allegations against the automakers.
