India: AZB nabs former ACCC official in Delhi

AZB & Partners announced Wednesday that it has hired a former Australia Competition and Consumer Commission executive for its office in Delhi.

    According to reports, AZB has added Fadi Metanios as senior consultant at its competition practice; he joins the firm from Australia-based Addisons.

    Before Addisons, Metanios served as assistant director at the ACCC. He worked at the regulator from 2004 to 2012, say reports.

    In a statement, AZB said the addition of Metanios will add “a valuable international perspective” to its competition practice.
