India: CCI asked to disclose details for its cement cartel order

The Competition Appellate Tribunal of India (Compat) on Thursday, asked the fair trade regulator, the Competition Commission, to disclose details about the Rs. 6,300 ($2 billion USD) crore penalties it had imposed on 11 cement companies on 21st June, for allegedly engaging in cartel conduct. The CCI had not disclosed various facts about matters like production, dispatches and pricing, and the tribunal said the matter would be listed for further hearings within seven weeks from today.
