India: Commission approves joint control of Tata Capital Financial Services and Japanese firm

The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has given its approval for Japanese firm Century Tokyo Leasing Corporation’s proposed acquisition of joint control in the leasing division of Tata Capital Financial Services. According to the CCI, the proposed combination is not likely to have an appreciable adverse effect on competition in India.
