India: iGATE approved to consolidate firms

The Competition Commission of India has approved for iGATE Corp, a global IT service provider, to consolidate two of its firms. iGATE Computer Systems and iGATE Global Solutions has been proposed to merge earlier this month without any noted vertical arrangements. Control over the consolidated firm will remain under iGATE.
