Mason Hayes & Curran has announced the promotion of Michael Madden from senior associate, to partner in the firm’s competition & antitrust team.
Mr. Madden has almost 20 years’ experience in the field of economic regulation. He advises clients on state aid, antitrust, and merger control and has particular expertise in the areas of telecommunications and broadcasting regulation.
A graduate of University College Dublin, he worked with the Irish communications regulator, the Commission for Communications Regulation (ComReg), prior to joining the firm in 2007.
Since joining the firm, Mr Madden has worked with ComReg on various spectrum auctions, including its hugely successful 4G auction.
