Italy: Authority fines companies over road barrier cartel

The Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) on Thursday fined seven manufacturers of road barriers more than €37.3 million ($48.3 million) for using a consortium called Comast to restrict competition for road and highway barriers. This helped the companies fix prices and divide the market for their product.
