Dr Barbara Veronese will be joining Oxera as Partner, based in Milan. Dr Barbara Veronese will and play a key role in Oxera’s continuing international growth. The firm stated she will further bolster its position in the Italian market, where it already advise corporate clients and law firms on a range of competition, regulatory, and litigation matters from its office in Rome.
Veronese joins Partner and Head of Oxera’s Rome office Dr Leonardo Mautino and Direttore Professor Alfredo Macchiati in demonstrating Oxera’s firm commitment to the Italian market. Veronese also joins Oxera’s Competition and TMT practices in working on matters across Europe and beyond.
According to the press release, she is a highly experienced economist who specializes in competition, antitrust, damages litigation, regulation, and state aid. She advises private and public sector clients on national and pan-EU matters across a range of sectors. For example, Barbara has advised clients extensively on cartel effects and damages, as well as on auction matters and spectrum policy.
