Italy: Renewable energy cos settle transfer of shares deal

Energy company GDF SUEZ has announced it has reached an agreement to dispose of its majority stake in its subsidiary IP Maestrale; part of its take went to ERG SpA for € 0.9 billion. GDF SUEZ will keep a 20 percent in IP Maestrale. The parties involved are all part of the energies sector; IP Maestrale works within wind energy and ERG SpA within renewable energy.
