Italy: WhatsApp sanctioned by the antitrust regulator

 |  January 23, 2018

Italy’s Antitrust Authority has imposed a fine of €50,000 (US$61,477) to WhatsApp for failing to publish clarifications to the application’s Terms of Use.

The Authority specified that the €50,000 (US$61,477) that WhatsApp will have to pay are the maximum fine currently established by the legislation.
