Kuwait: Voters call for competition law in next legislative term

As the forthcoming legislative term approaches, voters throughout Kuwait are voicing their most prominent concerns, including the hope that antitrust law would be implemented to strengthen independent businesses’ competitive stance and reduce prices for consumers. Among many of the nation’s largest issues, which include education and healthcare, an effective competition law would solve economic issues, say reports. A parliamentary election is scheduled for July 27.
