According to reports, Babyrbek Dzheenbekov has been appointed Director of the State Agency for Antitrust Regulation. Russia’s Policy Department of Government’s Office reported the news on Thursday, and an appropriate decree was signed by the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic. Reports did not give details on Dzheenbekov’s background, though it was reported that he graduated from the Legal Science Department of the Kyrgyz State University in 1977.
