Peru is set to host 2013’s OECD-IDB Latin American Competition Forum next September. The announcement was made by the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and Intellectual Property, which was established in 2003. The meetings are held once a year; this will be the 11th year the event has occurred. According to the National Institute, Peru was chosen due to its strong economic progress.
