Latin America: Region to focus efforts on cooperative antitrust policy improvements

The Inter-American Development Bank has approved a project to improve competition policy and enforcement throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. The IDB will work in cooperation with the Organization for Economic Cooperation Development (OECD) and the Latin American Competition. The involved organizations are focusing on the implementation and execution of an annual forum for the region for competition authorities to gather, with added support from Spain and Portugal.
