Helen Gornall will join De Brauw’s competition practice as counsel from September 1, 2018, bringing with her 15 years of expertise in competition law in both private and corporate practice.
Since January 2015 Helen has been Senior Competition Counsel and subsequently Director Competition Law at AkzoNobel. In this capacity she has frequently worked closely with the De Brauw team. Before working at AkzoNobel, she was part of Clifford Chance’s antitrust group in Amsterdam for six years, and worked as an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London and Brussels for another six years. In 2007/2008, Helen spent 10 months working as part of the antitrust team at Philips in Eindhoven.
