New Zealand: Commerce Commission probes car parking business acquisition

New Zealand’s Commerce Commission has launched an investigation into Wilson Parking’s acquisition of competing parking business Tournament Parking. Despite the probe, the regulator has not released the reasons for the investigation, though it has invited third parties to approach the Commission with any relevant information on the companies. The regulator has so far denied to comment on the matter. Wilson is New Zealand’s largest private parking company.
