NYSE Euronext declines to join Deutsche Börse’s appeal

NYSE Euronext has announced it will not join Deutsche Börse’s appeal of the European Commission’s decision to block the merger between the two exchanges. In its statement, as quoted by Reuters, NYSE says, “our sole focus has returned to executing our strategy and leveraging the significant opportunities we have to grow the business and continue to create long-term value for our shareholders, customers and employees.”
