Online bullion dealer gets warning for trying to fix gold and silver prices

The New Zealand Commerce Commission has warned Silver Seller and one of its directors, Jacob Martin, over attempted price-fixing. Silver Seller is an online bullion trader that sought to enter into an agreement with a competitor to fix the prices of gold and silver bullion sold on Trade Me. The competitor, according to emails investigated by the Commission, did not respond; instead, it alerted Trade Me and the Commission.
