Pakistan: CCP champions antitrust courses in Universities

The Competition Commission of Pakistan has begun an initiative to try to introduce courses on competition law in certain Universities in the nation. Members of the CCI held advocacy sessions during a visit to Karachi in efforts to raise awareness for antitrust education and its importance. The team reportedly met with the Deal of the Karachi School for Business and Leadership to promote the idea, arguing that an elective course on antitrust in select schools will bring structure to the ongoing initiatives of the CCP and provide “long term sustainability” to its enforcement.
