Pakistan: New acting CCP chairman named

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif announced his appointment of Dr. Joseph Wilson to become acting chairman of the nation’s competition watchdog, say reports. Prior to joining the Competition Commission of Pakistan, Dr. Wilson served as a founding member of the body since its founding in 2007. A press says he has overseen cases involving mergers, monopolies and trade abuses, and international affairs at the CCP. Dr. Wilson earned his Doctor of Civil Law at the McGill Faculty of Law in Montreal, Canada.
