Philippines: SEC to release next batch of price-fixing complaints against farm supplier
A Securities and Exchange Commission official has suggested that the agency will likely release the next round of the last quarter’s criminal complaints concerning price-fixing accusations against Calata Corp. A second batch of complaints against the company is expected to be released “within 10 months” according to SEC commissioner Manuel Huberto B. Gaite. While the SEC has been probing the farm supplier for several months, Gaite gave no specific answers on when the investigation would conclude, though did say that the investigation was “on track.”
