Proceedings against Cementos Portland Valderrivas for breach of duty to collaborate
Spain’s Comisión Nacional de la Competencia (CNC) brought infringement proceedings against Cementos Portland Valderrivas on May 3 for breaching its duty to collaborate with the competition authority. The CNC maintains that Cementos Portland Valderrivas had submitted documents in response to requests that were incomplete, incorrect, misleading, or false. The documents related to sales turnover, manufacturing volume, and the corporate structure. They were requested by the CNC for its investigation into its anticompetitive conduct related to concrete and associate products.
