Quinn Emanuel’s new Hamburg office signals firm’s growth in IP, patent, antitrust litigation

Quinn Emanuel has opened its second German office in Hamburg. The office will be led by Nadine Herrmann, who most recently headed Allen & Overy’s intellectual property practice and whose expertise also includes antitrust litigation and technology transfer agreements. Ten other lawyers from Allen & Overy join Hermann in Hamburg. Quinn Emanuel’s managing partner John Quinn stated that the firm’s increased presence in Germany is due to the country’s important role in IP and patent litigation, as well as any antitrust issues arising from such disputes.
