Rod Sims discusses eCommerce and bank price signaling

Rod Sims, the Chairman of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, outlined the watchdog’s priorities at the 2012 Competition Law Conference in Sydney. Sims highlighted the consumer and competition concerns with online commerce. He also discussed what constitutes anticompetitive price signaling in the banking sector; new provisions on price signaling will be added to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 on June 6.
