Royal Philips and LG receive formal complaint for cathode ray price-fixing

Royal Philips Electronics and LG have received an EU antitrust complaint and a supplementary statement of objections. The complaint and statement concern the actions of LG.Philips Displays, a cathode ray joint venture between Royal Philips and LG. The Commission is investigating possible price-fixing for cathode ray tubes in computer monitors and color televisions.
