Russia: Watchdog to check price increases at mobile operators

Russian competition regulator FAS has not yet received any complaints from customers about the price increase for non-active tariffs at mobile operators Megafon and Beeline, reported Tass citing Anatoliy Golomolzin, deputy head of the watchdog. The regulator still plans to check whether the price increase is grounded.

    Megafon earlier announced it was lifting prices for its non-active tariffs from January 13. Beeline announced it would raise its rates from January 16.
