Al-Fanar Commercial Investment Company (ACIC) has offered a merger application to acquire Al-Fanar Company (AC). AC specializes in electrical, mechanical, and industrial works, and ACIC invests in land sale or lease as well as establishing warehouses, commercial and residential buildings.
The Saudi Council of Competition explained Wednesday that the application is the first of its kind for 2015 and will be evaluating the application.
Financial details have not yet been released.
