SDE investigating telecom companies for unfair practices at call centers

The antitrust division of Brazil’s Justice Ministry, the SDE, is investigating Telemar Norte Leste SA (TMAR5), Telemar Internet Ltda, Brasil Telecom SA (BRTO4) and BRT Servicos de Internet SA for unfair practices. The companies are suspected of using their call centers to promote their own Internet service providers, without mentioning competing products.
