Singapore: Airplane service firms announce plans to fly together

Airplane parts manufacturer AeroTurbine announced plans to enter into a joint venture with the world’s largest aircraft tech servicing firm Lufthansa Technik, say reports.

    The companies have agreed to a commercial partnership that will supply AeroTurbine material to Lufthansa; AeroTurbine will subsequently buy maintenance services from Lufthansa.

    The deal, which remains subject to regulatory approval, also includes plans for Lufthansa to acquire a 15 percent stake in AeroTurbine, a share currently owned by ILFC.
