Singapore: Freshfields relocates arbitration head, may signal new expansion

Law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has reportedly relocated its global head of arbitration from Hong Kong to Singapore in efforts to expand operations in the city-state, a move that may signal further expansions of the firm’s antitrust operations.

Reports say Lucy Reed will relocate to Singapore to strengthen arbitration offerings in the nation, bringing the first arbitration partner in the city, say reports.

Freshfields had earlier speculated expanding its antitrust practice into Singapore earlier this month as the area grows in importance for the country.
