Spain: $20M fine for television company imposed by CNC

In response to a lawsuit against the National Collegiate Athletic Association for sanctions imposed against Penn State in an antitrust lawsuit, the NCAA has filed a motion to have the suit dismissed. Reports emerged earlier this year that the NCAA was being sued over fees imposed on those wishing to retract their membership of the association. According to reports, the NCAA is now firing back arguing that the association should not be subject to antitrust scrutiny as it is not directly regulating economic activity, it said in court documents.
